The advate.com Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) October 27, 2005 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (ET) on July 31, 2006 (“Promotion Period”).

1. How to Enter: To participate in the Sweepstakes online go to www.advate.com/sweep and complete the official entry form including your name, street address, city, state, zip code, email address, and phone number. Only one entry per person per month regardless of method of entry.

Alternate Method of Entry: On a standard-size postcard, hand-print your complete name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, email, and telephone number and send it to: advate.com Sweepstakes, Dept. 064842, Lubbock, TX 79491-4842, to be received by July 31, 2006. Limit one entry per person and/or household per month (regardless of method of entry.) No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Illegible entries are void. 2. Drawing of Winners: Five (5) Grand Prize Winners will be determined in a random drawing to take place on or around August 12, 2006. Drawing will be conducted by United Marketing Services, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

3. Prizes: Five (5) Grand Prizes: Vacation Package for four (4), including airfare from a major airport nearest the winner's home to the National Hemophilia Foundation Annual Meeting to be held October 12-14, 2006 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, three (3) nights hotel accommodations for four and full registration into the annual meeting. Approximate Retail Value of each prize is $2500.00 (TRV of all prizes is $12,500). Limit one prize per person, family and/or household. Travel must occur on dates specified by sponsor according to the annual meeting dates or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Reservations will be made by Sponsor, on an airline of their choice. Complete terms and conditions of trip will be furnished with prize notification. Specifics of prize package are subject to availability and sponsor's sole discretion. In the event the annual meeting is canceled the prize will not be awarded. If a travel prize winner is unable to participate or accept any portion of the prize package, prize will be forfeited. Winners and guests are responsible for obtaining any travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance or special accommodations) where applicable, at their option, and hereby acknowledge that the Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. No prize substitution, cash equivalent, or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. All prizes subject to the annual meeting being held during the year 2006. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Winners accept responsibility of all payment of taxes on prizes. All expenses relating to the acceptance of any prize, which are not explicitly listed herein as being awarded, are the responsibility of respective winners.

4. Eligibility: The promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, 18 years of age and older who have been clinically diagnosed with hemophilia or are the parent or legal guardian of an individual diagnosed with hemophilia. Employees of Baxter Healthcare Corporation, those involved in the production (including prize suppliers), development, handling, or administration of the Sweepstakes, their advertising and promotion agencies, and any agents acting for above entities and/or Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes Entities”), their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same household as such employees are ineligible. This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state laws and regulations.

5. To Claim Prize: Sponsor will notify potential prize winners by phone, email, and/or mail. Winners and travel companions will be required to complete, sign and notarize an Affidavit/Release, which must be returned within seven (7) days of prize notification or prize may be forfeited. Winners will be required to furnish their social security number, which will be used only for the purpose of reporting the winner's prize earnings to the Internal Revenue Service as required by law. If the Grand Prize is unclaimed or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if a winner fails to properly sign and return all forms described herein, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate. Sponsor reserves all rights, including the right to edit, publish, use, adapt, modify, or dispose of any proper names, likeness, and photographs without further consideration or payment to the entrant online, in print, or in any other media for advertising and promotional purposes for this and similar promotions in all media (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. All prize claims are subject to verification. If an entrant changes any personal or contact information, including but not limited to his/her telephone number and/or address after he/she enters the Sweepstakes, it is his/her sole responsibility to notify Sponsor, by U.S. Mail, to the address listed under point seven (“7.”) below.

Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and the decisions of the judges, waive any right to claim ambiguity in the rules, and release, indemnify and hold harmless Baxter Healthcare Corporation or United Marketing Services and each of their affiliates, subsidiaries and their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees (collectively, “Releasees”), from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, any liability of any kind arising from or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes and/or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of the prize that may be awarded. Entrants agree that any and all disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
